Linux Mint
for people who just want their computer to work, and are tired of pretending that's a character flaw.
ls features/
It looks like a computer should
A taskbar. A start menu. Things where you expect them. Nobody has to relearn anything.
Cinnamon, not a science project
Stable, familiar desktop environment. It gets out of the way and lets you get on with your day.
Built on something solid
Ubuntu base underneath, minus the parts that annoyed everyone. Update Manager that doesn't nag.
Every distro fan has a phase where they tell you Mint is "for beginners" like it's an insult. It isn't. It's for people who already know what they want.
